Nobody going to Tilles Park

Isn't it strange how so many nobodies bike on the sidewalks? It's almost like there's not enough room on the roads....

Nobodies coming at us on Geyer

There were actually a couple more just ahead of these two that I didn't manage to get a picture of.

Nobody crossing Woodbine at Kirkwood

Nobodies at Hanley and Manchester

Nobody waiting at a red light

The only reason I got this shot as we went through the intersection was that I had just tried to photo a guy going down Hanley a half block north of this spot. I missed him, but just managed to snap her.

Nobody flies by on Big Bend

Nobodies pass like ships in the night

Nobody pedaling up Big Bend Blvd

What's going on here?

I was at the Trailnet open house talking to Kevin Neill the Community Planning Manager, who told me that my chances of getting more bike-friendly routes down here in unincorporated south St. Louis county were slim. He later forwarded me this article, which enraged me enough that I have started this blog to document the falsehood of "nobody bicycles in St. Louis County"

I have taken it upon myself to document the nobodies who have been "saluted" by David Wrone, in the hope that it might make some difference in this kind of attitude.

Each blog post is time stamped with the date and time the photo(s) was taken and location stamped with the place. I have refrained from photographing bikers on Grant's Trail and dedicated bike lanes because that would just be cheap. These are photos of bikers fighting with the traffic and the lack of bike-friendly planning in our streets.
